Responsibilities

• Transport goods over long and short distances
• Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety hazards
• Maintain a detailed log of working hours and vehicle service
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Report any accidents or incidents
• Load and unload cargo
• Communicate with dispatch and customer
• Secure cargo to prevent shifting and damage
• Maintain cleanliness of the truck
• Perform basic maintenance tasks like checking fluid levels
• Handle paperwork, such as bills of lading
• Monitor road conditions and adjust driving accordingly
• Represent the company professionally to clients and the public

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 25lbs

working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week

working weekends
