Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Prepare parts for powder coating, including cleaning, blasting, and masking.
- Set up and operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns and booths.
- Apply powder coating evenly and consistently to meet specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor oven operation and curing times to ensure proper finish.
- Perform quality checks and make adjustments as necessary to ensure flawless results.
- Maintain and clean powder coating equipment and the work area.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Assist in other areas of production as needed.
- strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to understand and interpret blueprints, specifications, and operating instructions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to use measuring instruments.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to distinguish shades and colors.
- Strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow within the company.
