Location: Chicago, IL Shift: 3rd Shift | Full-Time | Overnight Hours Pay: $18.00–$23.90/hr Randstad USA is now hiring a Sanitation Lead for a major food manufacturing facility in Chicago. This is a full-time, direct hire role on 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in food sanitation, strong knowledge of HACCP and GMP practices, and proven leadership capabilities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 1+ year of sanitation experience in food manufacturing
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, FDA regulations, and chemical safety
- Ability to lead and train team members
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office or similar)
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cold, wet, or humid environments
- bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, not required
- Must be available to work 3rd shift
- Pay: $18.00–$23.90/hr

Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Sanitation Supervisor to review daily assignments and sanitation goals
- Lead sanitation team members across production, shipping, receiving, waste areas, and coolers
- Train and guide staff on chemical usage, cleaning methods, and equipment operation
- Ensure all documentation is complete and the Master Sanitation Schedule is maintained
- Perform end-of-shift inspections and sanitation swabs, addressing non-compliance quickly
- Oversee PPE compliance and promote a safety-first environment
- Track and manage weekly chemical inventories
- Enforce company policies and support continuous improvement initiatives
