- Lead and supervise a high-performing team; manage work schedules, overtime, time off, and leave requests.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and coaching conversations to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Deliver clear and timely feedback—both constructive and positive—while documenting disciplinary actions as needed.
- Oversee onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training efforts to ensure compliance with safety standards and workplace policies.
- Act as a liaison between workforce and union representation; manage grievance procedures and uphold collective bargaining agreements.
- Review daily operational reports to identify and resolve issues that may impact production, cost, or delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve maintenance concerns and improve machinery performance.
- Support and participate in safety audits and workplace inspections; ensure strict adherence to EHS protocols.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to reduce costs, enhance productivity, and optimize labor/material use.
- Coordinate the requisition and distribution of equipment, tools, and materials.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- 5+ years in a manufacturing or industrial setting or 1+ year of internal leadership experience at a comparable company.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; employment eligibility will be verified. Sponsorship is not available.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage employee relations, and foster a high-morale environment.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 6S, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficient understanding of technical manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
Will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials. Will participate in plant safety inspections and housekeeping audits. This position will be responsible for deployment ABS and EHS improvements across the shifts, focusing on employee engagement.
