salary: $20 - $25 per hour

Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience using welding equipment to fuse metals and will work from blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions to assemble and repair metal structures and components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Use MIG, TIG, Stick, or Arc welding techniques to weld various materials (steel, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.)
- Inspect welds for quality and strength; perform adjustments as needed
- Operate grinders and other tools to prepare and finish welds
- Set up components for welding according to specifications
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform basic measurements and calculations as needed
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently
- Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or construction setting
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
- Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
- strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Welding certification (preferred but not required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Exposure to heat, noise, and metal fumes
- Must wear appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment)
