A global manufacturer of food ingredients is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support its production facility. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing production machinery, physical infrastructure, electrical systems, and automated equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and equipment
- Maintain and install pipe systems, pneumatic/hydraulic components, and electrical apparatus
- Perform preventive maintenance (PMs)
- Operate tools and equipment including TIG welders, forklifts, and machine tools
- Support production uptime through quick diagnostics and hands-on repairs
- High school diploma or GED (technical degree or certification preferred)
- 3+ years of relevant maintenance experience
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and PLCs a plus
- strong mechanical, electrical, and fabrication skills
- Ability to read/speak English and communicate clearly in writing

Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
- Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction.
- Diagnoses problem or repairs machine may discuss machine operation variations with others.
- Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
- Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
- Repairs and maintains physical structure.
- Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery such as robots or programmable controllers.
- Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine. Repairs or fabricates machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.
- Operates cutting torch or welding equipment.
- Performs PM’s as required.
- May operate a forklift as required.
- Keeps shop, toolbox and work areas clean.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
