- Troubleshooting: Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex issues within HVAC systems.
- Mechanical Aptitude: strong understanding of mechanical principles to effectively repair and maintain intricate systems.
- Refrigeration Knowledge & Handling: Expertise in refrigerants, including their safe handling and adherence to environmental regulations.
- Blueprint Reading: Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams for accurate installation.
- Tool Proficiency: Skilled in using a wide range of hand and power tools for installations and repairs.
- Preventive Maintenance: Knowledge of routine maintenance procedures to maximize system lifespan and efficiency.
- Smart Technology: Familiarity with smart thermostats and other connected HVAC systems is a plus.
- Energy Efficiency: Understanding of energy-efficient systems and how to optimize their performance.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for installing HVAC equipment in residential and light commercial structures
- Must have knowledge of HVAC equipment, codes and installation procedures
- Must be driven to succeed and able to work with minimum supervision
- Customer service skills required to communicate effectively with customers
- Clean equipment/work area and complete all paperwork required by management
- Maintain truck inventory, while keeping assigned service vehicle organized and clean
