Responsibilities
1. Order Picking
- Receive digital orders from clients through integrated inventory/order management systems.
- Locate and pick the correct eyewear SKUs (frames, lenses, accessories) from inventory shelves.
- Cross-check product specifications such as model number, color, size, and prescription information when applicable.
- Maintain strict quality control standards to prevent picking errors.
- Inspect frames and lenses for defects, scratches, or irregularities before packing.
- Verify product matches the customer's prescription and specifications (when applicable).
- Clean and prep eyewear for shipment using appropriate handling techniques and tools
- 3. Packing
- Pack each item securely in branded or generic protective packaging.
- Include proper documentation, such as invoices, lens care instructions, and branded material.
- Use bubble wrap, microfiber cloths, cases, and boxes to ensure damage-free delivery.
4. Inventory Management
- Track incoming and outgoing inventory with warehouse software systems.
- Conduct regular stock counts and audits to ensure data accuracy.
- 5. Shipping & Fulfillment
- Generate shipping labels and manage carrier pickups (e.g., USPS, FedEx, UPS).
- Process domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Offer same-day or next-day shipping options for time-sensitive orders.
- Manage restocking and returns in coordination with client partners.
