Responsibilities
The Manufacturing Lead plays a key role in supervising and working alongside the production team, particularly in plastic extrusion and molding processes. This individual must be technically skilled, reliable, and capable of troubleshooting equipment while ensuring daily production goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and assist with the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of plastic extrusion and injection molding machines
- Supervise day-to-day operations on the production floor and support operators during machine runs
- Monitor quality, material usage, and output to ensure compliance with specifications
- Train new employees on equipment, safety procedures, and work instructions
- Work with maintenance and quality teams to resolve machine and product issues quickly
- Maintain documentation of production runs, downtime, and material usage
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Serve as the first point of contact for resolving shift-related issues
