- 2+ years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing facility, with a preference for a regulated environment such as automotive, aerospace, or medical device.
- An Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
- The ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings, and proficiency with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Solid knowledge of metrology, materials, calibration, auditing, and various inspection techniques.
- A general understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 17025, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- A clear understanding of the concept of traceability (product, material, and calibration).
- Experience inspecting with a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) is desired.
- Excellent communication skills, encompassing written, verbal, and listening abilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the capacity to multi-task and effectively prioritize your workload.

Responsibilities
- Accurately measuring parts, fixtures, tooling, and assemblies using appropriate tools and fixtures, following approved procedures and specifications.
- Executing Quality Inspection tasks within SAP to ensure precise and timely inventory control.
- Verifying that all equipment used adheres to calibration and preventive maintenance requirements before use, and taking appropriate action for any deviations.
- Maintaining meticulous documentation of test data and observations, including both paperwork and electronic records, adhering to Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Organizing and summarizing inspection/test results, and preparing comprehensive reports.
- Reviewing vendor certificates and inspection data to confirm compliance with our specifications.
- Initiating nonconformance reports for defective materials and supporting Operations in product investigation and disposition.
- Participating in internal, ISO, and other audits to ensure continued compliance.
- Collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure work meets established standards, acceptance criteria, and quality policies.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of inspection procedures, specifications, and processes.
