As our Station QHS Manager, you won't just enforce standards, you'll build the framework that protects our people and drives our performance. Key responsibilities include fostering a culture of safety, leading quality improvement initiatives, managing safety training and emergency response plans, and ensuring all incidents are properly investigated. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of safety experience in a logistics/warehousing environment and 5 years of management experience, with a background in project management and quality tools like Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

Summary: The Station QHS Manager oversees all site-level quality, health, safety, and environmental programs. The primary focus is to ensure compliance, promote a culture of safety, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive compliance with all company QHS policies and external standards (e.g., ISO, GDP).
  
  
• Lead quality improvement projects and act as the subject matter expert for the Quality Management System.
  
  
• Manage all site safety programs, including safety committee leadership, training coordination (forklift, hazmat), and development of emergency response plans.
  
  
• Ensure regulatory compliance for Dangerous Goods and hazardous materials.
  
  
• Oversee the timely reporting and investigation of all site incidents.
  
  
• Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for QHS functions.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of safety experience in logistics/warehousing and 5 years of supervisory experience.
  
  
• Education: Degree in safety management, quality management, or a related field is preferred.
  
  
• Certifications: TQM or Six Sigma certification is preferred.
  
  
• Skills: Expertise in quality tools (Six Sigma, Kaizen), project management, and leadership/communication skills.
