Responsibilities
Summary: The Station QHS Manager oversees all site-level quality, health, safety, and environmental programs. The primary focus is to ensure compliance, promote a culture of safety, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive compliance with all company QHS policies and external standards (e.g., ISO, GDP).
- Lead quality improvement projects and act as the subject matter expert for the Quality Management System.
- Manage all site safety programs, including safety committee leadership, training coordination (forklift, hazmat), and development of emergency response plans.
- Ensure regulatory compliance for Dangerous Goods and hazardous materials.
- Oversee the timely reporting and investigation of all site incidents.
- Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for QHS functions.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of safety experience in logistics/warehousing and 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Education: Degree in safety management, quality management, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications: TQM or Six Sigma certification is preferred.
- Skills: Expertise in quality tools (Six Sigma, Kaizen), project management, and leadership/communication skills.
