Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue detailed product specifications for bulk and finished goods.
- Revise and update existing specification documents as needed, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage filing and maintenance of completed specifications and critical documentation.
- Collaborate with internal laboratories and release teams on specification issues or changes.
- Work closely with process engineering and R&D to develop and edit specifications based on client needs or development forms.
- Monitor client/vendor portals for updated specifications, saving and distributing new versions to relevant departments.
- Establish and maintain standard startup pieces and general appearance guidelines for the production floor.
- Organize and store daily retained samples received from production.
- Maintain awareness of and adhere to all safety regulations.
- High School Diploma required; some college coursework is desirable.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in a cosmetic or pharmaceutical inspection process is preferred.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions in English.
- Proficient computer skills and effective writing abilities.
- extensive communication skills for internal collaboration and addressing client/supplier specification concerns.
