We're hiring a Welding Technician with keen mechanical maintenance skills. You'll handle weld repairs, equipment upkeep, and basic fabrication for plant operations as well as being a part of the maintenance team and assisting with mechanical repairs.  In this role there is room for growth and continued education with obtaining a boilers certification and industrial hvac certfication.  This is a career opportunity for an individual seeking a last stop in their career.  

• First Shift - M-F (some flexibility on ocassion) 7am to 4pm
• $30-$35/hour

salary: $62,400 - $72,800 per year

Responsibilities

Welding Technician with industrial welding and fabrication experience to support equipment and facility repairs, fabrication projects, and welding equipment upkeep. This role includes clear advancement pathways across three technical levels based on experience and certifications.  This role will also need an individual who is mechanically sound.  This role requires mechanical line maintenance as well.  

Key Duties:

• Perform Arc, MIG, and TIG welding in all positions.
  
  
• Select proper rods, wires, and gases based on job needs.
  
  
• Execute cutting tasks (oxy-fuel, plasma, saw).
  
  
• Read blueprints and fabricate parts with precision.
  
  
• Conduct welding repairs on equipment and site structures.
  
  
• Maintain and calibrate welding tools.
  
  
• Follow all safety protocols, including PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.
  
  

Qualifications by Level:

• Level I: 1–2 years welding or technical training.
  
  
• Level II: 3–5 years in industrial welding/fabrication.
  
  
• Level III: 6+ years with Arc, MIG, and TIG certifications.
