Responsibilities
The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing all quality assurance and control processes to ensure compliance with internal standards and ISO 9001:2015 requirements. This role manages the operation of the materials lab, including preparation and testing of samples, issuing material/process certifications, monitoring in-process and final product quality, and maintaining the calibration system for inspection tools and test devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and renew certifications (e.g., ISO 9001:2015); lead internal and external audits.
- Ensure company-wide compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards and procedures.
- Inspect and test incoming materials, in-process components, and finished goods—including metallographic evaluations.
- Document and maintain quality records and product/process reliability data.
- Oversee and update Standard Procedures (SP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions related to RME (Return Material Evaluation) cases.
- Conduct annual internal audits across all departments.
- Maintain a clean and safe lab environment; support general lab operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- 5–10+ years in quality control; experience with ISO 9001:2015 required.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Word and Excel; basic understanding of gage calibration.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
