Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of production equipment, machinery, and facility areas according to established schedules and procedures.
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment as required for deep cleaning and preventative maintenance.
- Conduct minor repairs and preventative maintenance on production equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
- Identify and report any major equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the Maintenance Manager.
- Adhere strictly to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP principles, and company food safety policies.
- Properly handle and dispose of waste materials and cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning and maintenance activities.
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and spare parts.
- Collaborate with production staff to ensure cleaning activities do not disrupt production schedules unnecessarily.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to sanitation and maintenance processes.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, power washers, and foamers safely and effectively.
