Randstad is looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Workers to join our growing team in Deer Park, New York. In this essential role, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that products are accurately picked, meticulously packed, and efficiently shipped to our customers.
salary: $18 - $25 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 6 AM - 3:30 PM
education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
- Order Picking: Accurately select items from warehouse inventory based on pick lists, ensuring the correct quantity and product.
- Packing & Kitting: Carefully package products to prevent damage during transit, including kitting multiple items together when required.
- Quality Control: Perform visual inspections of products for damage or discrepancies before packing and shipping.
- Shipping Preparation: Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling, weighing, and staging for carrier pickup.
- Inventory Management: Assist with organizing and maintaining accurate inventory counts, and participate in cycle counting as needed.
- Receiving & Stocking: Help unload incoming shipments and properly stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain a Safe & Tidy Workspace: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely and efficiently.
