About The Opportunity Do you excel in keeping production equipment operating at peak performance? We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our overnight operations team. In this pivotal role, you’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Reliability, initiative, and a mechanical aptitude will make you a key contributor to our continuous operations.
What You’ll Do
- Perform hands-on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulics maintenance and repairs on industrial food processing equipment during nightly operations.
- Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
- Quickly respond to machinery breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
- Document all maintenance activities in compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and sanitation regulations in a food manufacturing setting.
- Collaborate with day-shift technicians to ensure seamless handoffs, consistent maintenance planning, and 24/7 facility coverage.
- Experience: 2+ years in industrial maintenance; food-processing environment experience preferred.
- Skills: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting abilities.
- Certification: Vocational training, technical diploma, or equivalent hands-on mechanical/electrical experience.
- Traits: Self-starter, detail-oriented, safety-focused, and dependable.
- Availability: Willingness and ability to work night shifts on a rotating schedule.
salary: $62,400 - $74,880 per year
