Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our warehouse team. This full-time, temp-to-perm role involves organizing, sorting, and transferring goods, ensuring timely and accurate shipments, and assisting with general warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and prepare outgoing shipments according to company procedures.
- Monitor packages from order processing through delivery.
- Ensure accurate and secure packing using proper shipping practices.
- Print and apply shipping labels.
- Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy and condition.
- Update inventory systems to reflect shipments and stock levels.
- Generate weekly or monthly shipping and inventory reports for management.
- Assist with morning warehouse tasks, including stocking and general maintenance.
- Occasionally lift items up to 30 lbs.
Prior warehouse or shipping/receiving experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed. Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Reliable with good attendance record.
Professional references required.
