We're looking for a skilled Saw Operator to join a dynamic blind manufacturer in Johnson City. salary: $31,000 - $31,200 per year

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain various types of saws, such as table saws, band saws, or miter saws, to cut materials like wood, metal, or plastic.
  
  
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine product specifications and cutting instructions.
  
  
• Measure and cut materials with high precision, often to a tolerance of 1/16 of an inch.
  
  
• Make adjustments to machine settings, such as cutting speeds and blade selection, to ensure accurate and safe operation.
  
  
• Monitor the production process for inconsistencies or defects and report any issues to a supervisor.
  
  

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time
