Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on industrial control systems and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues related to automated machinery.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Utilize diagnostic tools such as multimeters to test and verify system functionality.
- Work with and troubleshoot various components including sensors, HMIs, VFDs, and motors.
- Proven experience as a PLC or Controls Technician.
- Keen understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and technical documents.
- Experience with industrial automation equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Commitment to safety and excellent work ethic.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and plant procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and system modifications.
