Responsibilities
Maintenance of injection molding machines to satisfactorily accomplish quality
and on-time delivered products to customers.
Complete Set-up and start-up of injected molding machines.
Applies injection molding principles and molding theories to troubleshoot and
process molding operations.
Performs mold and color changes on injection machines.
Works with Material Handlers and Machine Operators to make sure raw materials
within the work cell are readily available.
Monitors machine operation for compliance to all ISO, health, safety, quality, and
efficiency standards; analyze and lead continuous improvements.
Works with production management to review and organize production activities.
Collaborates with Tool Room, Quality, Maintenance and Engineering teams to
identify and resolve equipment and quality problems within molding cell.
Evaluates scrap reduction techniques within work cell.
Monitors and documents daily process conditions; logging changes and drafting
detailed mold repair work information form sheets
Ensures safety, cleanliness, and organization of work area.
Other duties as assigned.
