We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled maintenance technician to join a global manufacturing leader in the West Knoxville area.  The candidate will be responsible for maintaining production machinery and facility equipement to enure continuous, safe, and efficient operations.  This is a crucial role to the company's mission of consistently delivering high-quality products to critical industries.  

salary: $62,000 - $70,000 per year
shift: Second
work hours: 5 PM - 3:30 AM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on all manufacturing equipment, including compounders, conveyors, and packaging lines according to a set schedule
  
  
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on production equipment to minimize downtime
  
  
• Respond to and resolve maintenance requests in a timely manner
  
  
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities
  
  
• Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards (e.g., ISO, GMP) in a clean manufacturing environment
  
  
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and implement improvements to equipment performance and efficiency
  
  
• Prior experience with PLCs, motors, and control panels highly preferred
