Responsibilities
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a stand-up forklift to move, replenish, and organize materials within the warehouse and production areas, ensuring efficient workflow and inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a stand-up forklift to load, unload, move, and stack materials safely and efficiently.
- Replenish the production floor with raw materials as needed to maintain continuous production flow.
- Remove completed skids and transport them to appropriate storage or staging areas.
- Pick, wrap, and stage orders for shipping according to company procedures.
- Inspect forklifts daily to ensure they are in safe working condition; report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate documentation of material movement and inventory updates.
- Ensure materials are properly labeled and stored in designated areas.
- Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and OSHA regulations.
- Assist with general warehouse duties such as cleaning, organizing, and inventory counts.
- Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and production staff to coordinate material handling needs.
