Responsibilities
- Advise team on project specifics, including material usage, labor distribution, and timelines.
- Directly manage and coordinate installation crews and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution and timely completion.
- You must be able to read and interpret paper shop drawings.
- Perform accurate field measurements to determine material orders.
- Order materials and follow up with manufacturers, general contractors, and other trades to ensure timely delivery.
- Negotiate prices with vendors and service providers and resolve any billing or ordering issues that arise.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for general contractors, manufacturers, and suppliers, maintaining solid relationships and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Report to the Senior Project Manager while also taking direction from the General Manager and Board Secretary.
- You must be a collaborative team player committed to supporting our company's growth objectives.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a project management role within the commercial construction industry.
- Experience with metal panels or commercial roofing is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and construction crews simultaneously.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents and paper shop drawings.
