Responsibilities
- Operating machining equipment, monitoring for production issues, and verifying part accuracy against schematics using calibrated measurement tools.
- Executing setup procedures, interpreting CNC programs, conducting in-process quality checks, utilizing inspection instruments, and comprehending basic engineering drawings.
- Interpreting customer blueprints and tolerancing specifications.
- Maintaining a quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001.
- Collaborating with leadership to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Certified in CNC machining or possessing 5+ years of equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 2 years operating CNC machining centers in a job shop setting.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Proactive individual capable of working autonomously under pressure and adapting quickly to evolving priorities.
- A technical degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
