What You'll Do: The Maintenance Technician will be the backbone of the operations, ensuring the plating and e-coating equipment runs smoothly. Responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of industrial equipment, with a focus on plating and e-coat lines.
- Applying electrical knowledge to diagnose and fix issues with machinery and electrical components.
- Performing both preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
- Working in a fast-paced environment where you'll need to adapt to changing priorities and wear a few different hats when needed.
What's Needed: The company needs someone with experience and a can-do attitude. This isn't a big, corporate, union shop, so they're looking for a person who isn't afraid to take on new challenges. The right candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, specifically within a plating or e-coating environment.
- Deep electrical knowledge and a history of working on industrial electrical components and machinery.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a demanding and challenging facility.
- A greatwork ethic and the flexibility to start a bit earlier than the usual 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM shift if equipment needs attention.
