We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join a leading food distributor in Wilsonville, OR. In this temp-to-hire role, you’ll perform daily cycle counts with a scan gun, walk through cooler, dry, and freezer zones to verify inventory accuracy, update records, and investigate discrepancies such as overs, shorts, and unders. You’ll also conduct product date checks, process incoming driver paperwork, and receive and verify returned products from routes. This position is key to keeping operations efficient and accurate while supporting product quality and recall processes as needed. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, math skills, and the ability to read, write, and speak English clearly. Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts in assigned warehouse zones (cooler, dry, and freezer) using a scan gun, verifying and updating inventory records in the system.
  
  
• Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies, including overs, shorts, and unders, and conduct date checks on products as needed.
  
  
• Process incoming driver paperwork after deliveries, and receive and verify returned products from routes.
  
  
• Maintain accurate records of materials, merchandise, equipment, and supplies, and assist with quality checks and product recall processes.
  
  
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers, demonstrating strong attention to detail, math skills, and proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
