As a Diesel Mechanic/Technician, you will be responsible for the preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of our diverse fleet of diesel-powered trucks and vehicles. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our fleet. The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional who can work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

salary: $6,000 - $70,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services on trucks and equipment.
  
  
• Diagnose and repair diesel engine malfunctions, as well as issues with transmissions, differentials, electrical systems, brakes, and other major components.
  
  
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid checks, and lubricating equipment.
  
  
• Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions using handheld computers and other diagnostic tools.
  
  
• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues.
  
  
• Perform road calls and on-site repairs as needed.
  
  
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  
  
• Comply with federal and state vehicle requirements and safety standards.
  
  
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  
  
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
