- Conduct in-process and final inspections of aerospace components, assemblies, and systems.
- Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) to verify part dimensions against engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform routine calibration and maintenance on inspection tools and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to ensure compliance with design requirements.
- Identify and document non-conformances, defects, or deviations from quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, logs, and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards (e.g., AS9100).
