Exciting opportunity to join an established logistics company. They are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL local driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting materials throughout New York This position offers a stable, local route and a schedule that allows you to be home daily. A typical day can run anywhere from 20-25 stops per day. 

salary: $58,240 - $71,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 6 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading/Unloading: Assist with the loading and unloading of cargo as required, ensuring the load is secured properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport. This may involve using equipment like a pallet jack or forklift..
  
  
• Route Management: Plan and follow the most efficient routes to meet delivery schedules, while being aware of traffic, road conditions, and any potential delays.
  
  
• Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, shippers, and receivers, ensuring a positive experience and addressing any delivery-related issues.
  
  
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including those from the Department of Transportation (DOT), OSHA, and company policies. This includes following hours-of-service regulations.
  
  
• Communication: Maintain open and timely communication with dispatch and other team members to provide status updates and report any issues.
  
  

Required:

• Must have a clean drivers abstract
• Must have a valid CDL A or B License
