We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Assembly Team Lead to support and coordinate daily operations of our Assembly Line during the first shift. Reporting to the Area Supervisor, you will lead a team of associates, ensure adherence to quality standards, and maintain efficiency across processes. Your expertise will play a key role in training new team members and maintaining operational excellence through lean manufacturing  principles. Shift 6am to 2:30pm (mandatory OT until 4:30pm and Saturdays by production need)

salary: $21 - $26 per hour

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Area Supervisor to manage and prioritize daily assembly line activities.
• Be proficient in all departmental processes; act as a trainer and mentor for new hires and
cross-training initiatives.
• Implement and promote BPS (Business Process Standards) principles for continuous
improvement and process optimization.
• Ensure timely delivery of components and finished units to meet production schedules.
• Read and interpret work instructions, product drawings, and special handling sheets (SHS).
• Use manual/power tools and measuring devices to assemble appliances and perform
functional tests.
• Inspect finished products for quality, identify defects, and manage non-conforming
materials appropriately.
• Rework units as needed to meet quality standards.
• Support a safe and organized work environment through adherence to best practices in
material handling
