Responsibilities
Core Tasks:
- Product Testing & Inspection: Perform frequent checks (4x per hour) on production parts to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications. You'll also inspect testing equipment for proper function and accuracy.
- Documentation & Reporting: Complete a Shift Summary report to communicate key information and potential issues to the next shift's technician and the Quality manager. You'll also document product specifications and defect occurrences.
- Computer Skills: You must be proficient in Windows, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Measurement Tools: You'll be using micrometers and calipers regularly.
- Quality Assurance: Sign off on completed pallets with a green sticker and your initials to confirm final inspection. For partially completed pallets, you will initial the ticket to indicate which portions have been checked.
- Collaboration & Support: Work with Team Leaders and operators to manage production schedules and testing needs. You will also support R&D projects, help document production run settings, and assist the Process Engineer in defining process readings.
