What You'll Do In this role, you'll be at the heart of our production. You'll work with state-of-the-art CNC tools and machinery to meet our high standards for quality, cost, and production schedules. You will:
- Set up and operate a variety of numerical control machine tools, including mills, drills, and reamers, to automatically shape metal and plastic parts.
- Select, measure, and assemble machine tools, such as drill bits and milling cutters, using precision gauges and instruments.
- Load control media or enter programmed instructions to retrieve and execute commands.
- Adjust machine controls for feed, speed, and tooling changes as needed.
- Follow precise specifications and procedures to ensure workpiece dimensions are exact.
- AutoCAD Certification is a must.
- Proven experience with HAAS controls.
- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- High School Diploma or GED. Specialized skills training or certification is a plus.
- A self-starter who can work under general supervision and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
