Are you a dependable and detail-oriented individual looking for a steady, hands-on job? We are hiring Assemblers for both 1st and 2nd shifts in our Berea, KY facility. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do:
- Build Products: You will be responsible for assembling and building a variety of products, ensuring quality and accuracy every step of the way.
- Manage Materials: Your role will also include shipping, receiving, verifying, and storing a wide range of incoming parts. You'll be the one to stage them for the assembly line, keeping production running smoothly.
- Hands-on Work: This isn't just a forklift job—you'll get a mix of hands-on manufacturing tasks, giving you a chance to work on different projects and develop new skills.
salary: $16.25 - $16.65 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 5 AM - 3:30 PM
education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
- Assemble products and components: Accurately position, align, and fasten parts and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, and machinery, ensuring proper fit and functionality.
- Interpret technical documents: Read and comprehend blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions to guide the assembly process and ensure products meet design specifications.
- Conduct quality control: Inspect and test assembled products to identify defects, troubleshoot malfunctions, and ensure all items meet company standards for quality and safety.
- Prepare for production: Study parts lists, gather necessary tools, materials, and components, and prepare the workstation for efficient assembly.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, keep the work area clean and tidy, and ensure all equipment and tools are properly maintained.
- Manage inventory: Monitor stock levels of parts and supplies at the workstation, and report shortages to supervisors to ensure a continuous production flow.
- Document work: Complete production and quality forms to accurately record actions, quantities, and any issues encountered during the assembly process.
- Collaborate with team members: Work effectively with other assemblers, supervisors, and engineers to solve problems and optimize production processes.
