Position Overview: The Supply Chain Associate will support the Supply Chain Leader in the daily execution of procurement, logistics, and inventory management. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products, maintaining vendor relations, and upholding the high standards of a collaborative and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement & Sourcing: Assist in the purchasing process, from creating purchase orders to tracking shipments and ensuring on-time delivery from suppliers.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with international teams and logistics partners to facilitate the efficient transfer of materials and products.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, assist with demand forecasting, and report on stock levels to prevent shortages.
- Financial Record-Keeping: Utilize QuickBooks to process invoices, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate financial documentation related to supply chain activities.
- Supplier Relations: Support the Supply Chain Leader in managing vendor relationships and resolving any day-to-day issues that may arise.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Use supply chain software to track key metrics and generate reports on inventory, logistics, and procurement activities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Production, Quality Control, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a supply chain, logistics, or procurement role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in supply chain software, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
