As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process. This position requires you to set up and maintain various types of equipment used in the production of our products, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for operating assigned machinery, which includes understanding the basic operations and troubleshooting techniques necessary to keep the production lines moving. Your attention to detail will be essential as you accurately complete all necessary production documentation and maintain a clean work environment throughout your shift. In addition to operating machinery, you will be expected to collaborate with support groups to ensure that production lines are ready to start on time, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency. This role requires flexibility, as you may be asked to cross-train on other machines and in different areas of the plant. You will need to be familiar with product specifications and maintain the correct specifications and line speeds to ensure the quality of our products. Safety is a top priority and you will be expected to practice good safety habits and adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMPs). You will work in a production environment that requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), which will be provided by the company. This includes safety glasses, hair/beard nets, hearing protection, and rubber boots with safety toes. You must be prepared to work in varying temperature conditions, as the production environment can be both cold and hot. Your ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods during 8-12 hour shifts is essential for this role.
salary: $15 - $15.75 per hour

Responsibilities
- Perform processing duties such as manual lifting, inspecting, loading raw product onto racks, slicing product
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
- Remove finished product from the production line and push batches to the next step of the process for packaging
- Perform related duties as required by supervisor
