What You'll Do As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for planning and conducting activities to ensure the quality of our industrial processes, materials, and products. Your main duties will include:
- Performing daily cycle counts and reconciling any discrepancies.
- Developing and maintaining standards for warehouse inventory inspection and auditing.
- Reviewing all purchased products to verify accuracy.
- Documenting data from quality activities according to company policies.
- Identifying problems and developing new approaches to solve them.
- Communicating significant issues and recommending process improvements to management.
- Preparing reports on outbound errors and root cause analysis.
- Training team members and management on quality processes.
- Dependability and Productivity: You manage your time well and are reliable in your work.
- Communication: You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and are comfortable giving presentations and sharing information.
- Attention to Detail: You are attentive to accuracy, constantly monitor quality levels, and take ownership of quality problems.
- Computer Skills: You are proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and have knowledge of Prophet 21 inventory software.
- Technical Skills: You understand specialty equipment and can serve as a technical resource for others.
- Problem-Solving: You can define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Education/Experience: An associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
