Your Impact and Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of skilled technicians, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Manage the complete vehicle upfitting process, from initial scheduling to final quality inspection, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to exact specifications.
- Serve as the lead technical expert on the floor, troubleshooting complex challenges in mobile hydraulics, 12V electrical systems, welding, and mechanical fitment.
- Drive shop efficiency by implementing best practices, managing workflow, and championing a mindset of continuous improvement.
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role such as a Service Manager, Shop Supervisor/Production Supervisor within the truck equipment, heavy equipment, or fleet maintenance industry.
- Hands-on knowledge of commercial truck chassis, hydraulic systems, and 12-volt electrical systems is essential.
- A proven passion for leading people and a talent for creating a positive, high-performance work environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and an unwavering commitment to quality workmanship.
salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of technicians in the complete installation of commercial truck equipment, including dump bodies, service bodies, and van interiors.
- Direct daily upfitting operations, managing workflow from bare chassis to finished vehicle to meet strict production schedules and quality standards.
- Serve as the hands-on technical expert on the shop floor, actively troubleshooting issues with mobile hydraulics, 12V electrical systems, and mechanical installations.
- Champion a culture of safety, ensuring all team members adhere to company policies and OSHA regulations in a dynamic shop environment.
- Conduct rigorous in-process and final quality control inspections to guarantee all work meets engineering schematics and customer specifications.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives like Lean or 5S to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize the build process.
- Coordinate with parts, engineering, and sales teams to resolve production bottlenecks and ensure a seamless workflow.
