We're looking for a motivated CNC Swiss Lead Machinist to join our team. In this role, you'll work with a production manager to program, set up, and operate Star CNC Swiss machines. This is an opportunity to not only produce high-quality parts but also to grow into a supervisory role.
What You'll Do:
- Program and Operate: You'll be responsible for programming Star CNC Swiss machines using Mastercam or Partmaker. You'll operate the equipment to produce parts, meeting both production rates and quality standards.
- Set Up and Inspect: You'll complete all assigned set-ups efficiently and perform in-process inspections, documenting them as required.
- Create and Maintain Documentation: You'll create and maintain technical documents such as setup sheets, programs, and work instructions for new and recurring jobs.
- Read Blueprints: You will read and follow blueprints, designs, and work instructions.
- Problem-Solve: We're looking for an independent problem solver who can effectively manage their time.
- Experience: At least 3 years of Swiss machining experience is required.
- Education: A high school diploma.
- Drive: You should be quality-driven with a desire to become an independent manager of a growing department.
salary: $72,500 - $80,000 per year

Responsibilities
CNC Swiss Lead machinist will work under a production manager to complete set-ups,
program, and operate Star CNC Swiss machines. Work toward becoming an independent
supervisor of 1 or more machine operators.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete all assigned set-ups while meeting efficiency expectations
- Operate CNC equipment to produce parts while meeting production rates and quality
standards
- Complete in process inspection documentation as required
- Create and maintain technical documentation; setup sheets, programs, work
instructions for new and reoccurring jobs.
- Create programs utilizing Mastercam or Partmaker.
- Read and follow blueprints, designs, work instructions and layout sheets
- Adhere to company policies relating to AS9100 processes and work instructions.
- Establish and document standard tooling required
- Maintain a clean and organized work space
- Track daily activities utilizing Epicor ERP system
- Communicate with Quality Control and Supervisor as needed.
