In this role, you will be responsible for keeping our production operations running smoothly and efficiently. This requires a flexible and adaptable individual with electrical and mechanical skills to perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks throughout our manufacturing facility. You will troubleshoot equipment, repair/replace parts, and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment for everyone.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled maintenance on plant machinery and equipment.
- Respond to and correct equipment stoppages and breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace worn or defective parts, motors, and control devices.
- Safely operate machine shop equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work as a dependable and trustworthy member of a high-functioning team.
- A High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience as a technician or formal training in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience operating a scissor lift and forklift.
- The ability to fluently read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Knowledge of three-phase electrical systems and machine rebuilds (including gearboxes and motors).
- The ability to read and understand schematics and mechanical drawings.
- General knowledge of welding (stick, argon, and MIG) is a plus.
- The ability to work overtime as needed.
