As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts. You'll work with a variety of materials and play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or other computer-controlled machines to perform a variety of tasks including drilling, cutting, and shaping metal parts.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining operations.
- Load programs into machines using G-code or conversational programming software, and make necessary adjustments for accuracy and efficiency.
- Select, install, and align tooling and workholding devices to ensure proper machining.
- Monitor machine operation during production runs to detect and resolve malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions.
- Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and keep work area clean and organized.
- Accurately complete production and inspection documentation as required.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with company quality standards and procedures.
