- Oversee and perform advanced diagnostics, hydraulic repairs, diesel engine work, and welding/fabrication for municipal and commercial fleets.
- Manage shop workflow, assign work orders, and ensure repairs meet safety and quality standards.
- Mentor and train mechanics, with a demonstrated ability to develop entry-level mechanics to fully competent.
- Proficiently diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks, tractor trailers, bulldozers, payloaders, sweepers, hotboxes, and other municipal/commercial equipment.
- Possess advanced hydraulic systems expertise, including plows, sanders, PTOs, cylinders, pumps, and valves.
- Perform diesel, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting, as well as chassis and frame repair.
- Conduct welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) for repair and fabrication work.
- Hold a CDL B with an air break endorsement, enabling the operation and recovery of heavy-duty vehicles is a plus
- 2-10+ years of experience in fleet maintenance and heavy truck/equipment service.
