Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience working with both manual and CNC machines is a must.
- Proficiency in Mastercam.
- Hands-on mechanical skills are a must.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
- Experience in setting up and programming.
- Working knowledge of machine capabilities and processes.
- Experience in Manual Lathe operations and maintenance on midsize lathes and Manual Mill operation.
- Ability to contribute to design concepts.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Spanish language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and drive projects is a must.
- Must be a self-starter who can work under minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment.
- Must be willing to become Forklift certified.
- A Driver's License is required.
- The work is performed in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- You will be frequently standing (31-60%) and continuously sitting (61-100%).
- The role involves frequently working with machinery (31-60%).
- You must be able to frequently lift or carry 1-40 lbs and occasionally lift or carry 41-60 lbs and 61 lbs or more.
- You will be occasionally bending or stooping, reaching above shoulder level, climbing stairs, and walking.
- This is a full-time position.
- Working hours are Monday through Thursday, 6am - 4:30pm.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating and programming CNC precision lathes (Okuma controls).
- Setting up tooling, programming, and operating the Okuma Lathe 2020.
- Selecting appropriate tools, loading materials, and monitoring the machining process.
- Reading blueprints and work orders.
- Inspecting finished parts for quality and accuracy using appropriate measuring instruments to ensure they meet specifications.
- Preparing materials for cutting, including measuring, marking, and securing them.
- Operating drills and grinders and fabricating metal parts.
- Performing routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Maintaining accurate records of production, materials used, time spent, and issues encountered.
- Following all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborating with team members and seeking ways to improve processes.
- Assisting other departments as necessary
