Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and bills of materials to perform assembly work accurately.
- Assemble and route wiring, cables, and harnesses on harness boards or within enclosures, securing with tie-wraps, cable lacing, or other approved methods.
- Use tools including wire cutters, crimpers, soldering irons, tie-wrap guns, calipers, and continuity testers.
- Perform electrical wiring tasks in compliance with industry and company standards, including UL and safety requirements.
- Inspect assemblies for proper connections, quality, and functionality; conduct continuity and functional testing, documenting results.
- Label or mark completed assemblies for identification and traceability.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot wiring or assembly issues and suggest process improvements.
- Report material shortages or quality concerns to the supervisor promptly.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area to promote efficiency and prevent hazards.
- Follow all company safety procedures and participate in maintaining a safe working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support production needs.
