1st shift assembler.

Local company in Cartersville looking for multiple candidates to join their fabricating team. This position involves using power tools to assemble different products. This position you will be standing all day on your feet. This is a temp to hire position. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test. The hours are Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pm... Responsibilities

• Blueprint and Specification Interpretation:
  
  Read and understand engineering drawings, work orders, and weld symbols to understand project requirements. 
  
  
• Material Preparation:
  
  Prepare materials by cleaning, measuring, and cutting them to specified dimensions. 
  
  
• Metal Fabrication:
  
  Use tools and machinery, including shears, brake presses, cutting equipment, to shape metal parts. 
  
  
• Assembly:
  
  Assemble components into larger products, potentially using hand tools and machines. 
  
  
• Quality Control:
  
  Inspect welded and fabricated components to ensure they meet quality specifications and tolerances
  
  

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time
