Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for producing precision-machined parts using both CNC mills and lathes. This includes setup, programming, and operation while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and program CNC lathes and mills.
- Write and edit CNC programs using G & M code on Fanuc controls.
- Program using Inventor CAM or Fusion 360 (preferred).
- Operate and troubleshoot Haas, Fadal, and Mori Seiki CNC machines.
- Machine parts to tight tolerances, with a focus on stainless steels.
- Calculate and adjust speeds and feeds for optimal performance.
- Perform inspections to ensure parts meet specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts.
- Solid understanding of precision machining practices.
What You Bring
- 5–7 years of CNC machining experience in a job shop environment.
- Proficiency with CNC mills and lathes.
- strong knowledge of G & M code programming on Fanuc controls.
- Experience with Inventor CAM or Fusion 360 preferred.
- Experience operating Haas, Fadal, and Mori Seiki machines.
- Familiarity with machining stainless steels, including speeds/feeds calculations.
- Manual lathe and mill experience a plus, but not required.
Physical Requirements & Safety
- Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Must wear safety glasses and steel-toe shoes on the production floor.
- Ability to stand for long periods (60–75% of the shift).
