Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain manual and CNC equipment including lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, and other shop machinery.
- Interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to fabricate or repair precision parts.
- Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job, ensuring efficient and accurate production.
- Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Troubleshoot and repair machining equipment to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve cycle times.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and adhere to all safety standards and procedures.
- Maintain documentation of work performed and ensure compliance with quality standards.
