Responsibilities
- Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles using both manual inspection and advanced computerized diagnostic equipment.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, including but not limited to:
- Changing oil, filters, and fluids.
- Rotating and balancing tires.
- Repairing or replacing worn parts like brake pads, sensors, belts, and hoses.
- Performing engine overhauls and transmission repairs.
- Working on steering, suspension, and HVAC systems.
- Changing oil, filters, and fluids.
- Communication: Clearly explain vehicle problems, recommended repairs, and estimated costs to customers in a clear and understandable manner. Build trust and provide a positive customer experience.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and diagnostics results.
- Safety and Organization: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines. Keep the work area clean, organized, and stocked with the necessary tools and equipment.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology, tools, and repair techniques through ongoing training and professional development.
