Looking for a permanent position and full benefits? We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanic Technician to join our team for the therd shift. The ideal candidate will have experience working overnight, passion for vehicles and a comprehensive understanding of mechanical and electronic systems. This role involves diagnosing and repairing a wide range of issues, performing routine maintenance.

salary: $45,000 - $50,000 per year

Responsibilities

 

• Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles using both manual inspection and advanced computerized diagnostic equipment.
  
  
• Maintenance and Repair: Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, including but not limited to:
  
  
  • Changing oil, filters, and fluids.
    
    
  • Rotating and balancing tires.
    
    
  • Repairing or replacing worn parts like brake pads, sensors, belts, and hoses.
    
    
  • Performing engine overhauls and transmission repairs.
    
    
  • Working on steering, suspension, and HVAC systems.
    
    
• Communication: Clearly explain vehicle problems, recommended repairs, and estimated costs to customers in a clear and understandable manner. Build trust and provide a positive customer experience.
  
  
• Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and diagnostics results.
  
  
• Safety and Organization: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines. Keep the work area clean, organized, and stocked with the necessary tools and equipment.
  
  
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology, tools, and repair techniques through ongoing training and professional development.
