Responsibilities

• Operating Commercial Vehicles: Responsible for driving vehicles weighing between 26,001 and 33,000 pounds, and potentially with a towed weight of no more than 10,000 pounds. This can include straight trucks, box trucks, large passenger buses, dump trucks, and delivery trucks.
• Transporting Goods and Passengers: Moving freight, materials, equipment, or passengers locally or over short distances.
• Adhering to Regulations: Following all traffic laws, safety regulations, and DOT regulations.
• Vehicle Inspections and Maintenance: Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including brakes, tires, lights, and other necessary equipment. Maintaining the vehicle in good working order, performing routine maintenance tasks, and reporting any incidents or accidents immediately
• Physical Tasks: Being able to lift heavy objects and perform other physical tasks.
• Delivery and Record Keeping: Following delivery instructions, mapping routes for timely deliveries, obtaining signatures or scans to confirm deliveries, and maintaining detailed driving and delivery logs and records.

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 50lbs

working up to 1 hrs of overtime per week

working weekends
