Qualifications:

Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED. -
Minimum Experience: 2+ years of experience, preferably in a GMP environment in the pharmaceutical industry. -
Thorough knowledge and understanding of all packaging equipment to support set-ups, changeovers, and minor repairs. - Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Ability to understand basic math and have basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to work independently, within a production team, and without supervision.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
- Able to stand for long periods and lift heavy machinery (50 lbs or more).
- The employee must frequently sit and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
- You must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- The employee is exposed to inside weather conditions, moderate noise, and vibrations.

Responsibilities
- Perform all packaging equipment line set-ups and changeovers.
- Evaluate the condition of packaging equipment during setups and report any needed repairs or excessive wear to the supervisor.
- Fill in positions on the line as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to transport material.
- Perform and direct all line cleanings and mechanical changeovers.
- Execute preventive maintenance work that is scheduled with production to minimize downtime.
- Clean and replace components of machinery as needed and defined in the preventive maintenance strategy.
- Identify and report any quality issues to the supervisor or quality department.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and safe working environment at all times.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, SOPs, and safety regulations.
